Quick Skillet Cake
1 cup Flour 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder pinch of Salt 2 Large Eggs 1/2 cup Sugar 1 stick Unsalted Butter 1/2 cup Walnuts or Pecans, chopped |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9" cast iron skillet. Whisk flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk eggs and sugar together. Add butter and whisk until satiny. Stir in flour mix. Whisk until smooth. Spread batter evenly in bottom of skillet. Top batter with chopped nuts. Bake 25-20 min. or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature. |
